New Chalgrave bridges

These two bridges have been replaced in Chalgrave. The bridges needed replacing due to thier poor condition. Each had a rather dodgy stile associated and these have been removed and replaced with steel kissing gates. So now a safer and much more accessible right of way. Thanks to all involved for making this happen.

Cutting back

Vegetation keeps trying to engulf our rights of way so there is a steady activity to keep the paths open. The hedgerow cutting tends to have to happen outside of the bird nesting season. Another waymark post replaced today. On the path from Toddington towards College farm, on the Toddington/Chalgrave parish boundary. Headland path north of A5

Over several weekends replaced four waymark posts on the headland path parallel with the new A5 road. This is on the Chalgrave/Houghton Regis parish boundary, HRE15/HRE13, HRE41/CHA15, HRE41/CHA18 and HRE15/CHA44 . The route is part of the revised Icknield Way path.
