Over the last few days, we have cleared four bridges on the River Flit and a couple more nearby. The river Flit between Cowbridge and Fancott. The area has had contractors laying cables which has meant it has been very muddy, but I understand the work is coming to a conclusion and the muddy tracks

With the help of Tom Hose we replaced the missing waymark post near Common Farm today (CHL4). The cross field path (CHL3) is still obstructed by a fence, this has been reported to CBC again. Yesterday did some cutting adjacent to Chalgrave church continuing to keep the brambles at bay!

I have posted some information about the Theedway which was a historic route across the south the Chalton and Chalgrave which survives today as the Boundway byway and Featherbed Lane. It apparently links with the Icknield Way near the A6, which is a linkage we are seeking to re-establish as part of the M1-A6 link
Out for a walk generally carry some tools just in case. Came across fallen tree on the Toddington/Chalton parish boundary. After a bit of effort we managed to clear the route. Part of the Icknield Way. It would benefit from some further cutting back.
