These two bridges have been replaced in Chalgrave. The bridges needed replacing due to thier poor condition. Each had a rather dodgy stile associated and these have been removed and replaced with steel kissing gates. So now a safer and much more accessible right of way. I have posted some information about the Theedway which was a historic route across the south the Chalton and Chalgrave which survives today as the Boundway byway and Featherbed Lane. It apparently links with the Icknield Way near the A6, which is a linkage we are seeking to re-establish as part of the M1-A6 link
