Replace rotten waymark posts

On the Icknield Way path from Chalgrave church to Wingfield (CHA21) a waymark post had rotted. We replaced that today with a new post.

  • Old post rotten propped in hole
  • New post on north side of hedge

Also cleared the field edge hedge towards the golf course (CHA22).

Opened up the gap in the hedge – nature keeps trying to close the gap!

Then on Sunday replaced another waymark post on the path (TOD61) from Luton road towards Fancott. The old post was completely rotten away at the base and attached to kissing gate with two bent nails.
