I have posted some information about the Theedway which was a historic route across the south the Chalton and Chalgrave which survives today as the Boundway byway and Featherbed Lane. It apparently links with the Icknield Way near the A6, which is a linkage we are seeking to re-establish as part of the M1-A6 link
