More cleansing this weekend. The above photos are the bridge from Long Lane to TOD35, which continues up to J12 of the M1. Although it was walkable, the vegetation was encroaching, and the vegetation on the decking was mixed with mud. Clearing the surface allowed the decking to be inspected for the decking to rot and for it to dry out.
Also had a go at the bridges of MBR16 which crosses Park Road on the Toddington/Milton Bryan parish boundary.
At both locations also did a “litter pick” and collected three bags of litter. Disappointing to see so much litter including – cans, plastic bottles and many glass bottles. At both locations is a ‘pull in’ which appears vehicles pull in and chuck litter out of the window.
