Tried clearing some of the ditch beside TOD99 with the intention to reduce the water on the path. Not really sure whether the ditch is the problem or whether it is just natural springs. Good to see it has been walked so well over the winter. The landowner does ask not to step over his fence as it is getting damaged.
Although elsewhere the ground is really starting to dry out making walking so much easier. This includes some of the arable fields which have not been recently ploughed.
Update Jul2021: Met with CBC who are going to investigate improvements in the surface. Surprisingly even in July it was still wet.
